Imre Sutton, who attended from 1934 to 1937, has written an extremely interesting memoir about Kips Bay ‘BACK TO EAST 29^th STREET’ which should bring back some fond memories. The website (http://www.ps116nyc.com) has details.

And many of you may remember Irving Harris who, as a talent coordinator for many major TV shows, arranged for many kids from the neighborhood to appear on local and national television programs.
